Domino's Pizza in Columbia will close Sept. 25, 2008

Carl Shirley, who has operated Domino's Pizza at 940 Jamestown ST in Columbia, KY for the past 18 years, announces that the business will close for good on Friday, September 25, 2008 at the close of business.

"We want to thank everyone for their patronage," Mr. Shirley said. He said that the equipment will be sold, and that the business could remain open in the same location if the new equipment owner wanted to keep it there.

"I have enjoyed working with everyone during our time here," he said, "but both my wife and I are committed to our careers in education and we think that it is time to focus on that."

Mr. Shirley said that the closing time Friday will depend on the inventory. "Usually we close at 11:00pm, but we may be closing earlier, depending on supplies."
