The LAND AROUND THE W.M. BALLOU MONUMENT on Nathan Curry Road had a East Texas look on Saturday, September 20, 2008. The dry weather has taken the green out of the grass, and the stream below is running slow. Besides, a large cactus, with nearly ripe tunas is nearby.
