BARBARA SHEPHERD sent this photo of the residual Hurricane Ike damage in Louisville and writes, "Blake took this photo while we were in Louisville near the Baxter/Beechwood area. Although we were aware they had a lot of damage, it's shocking to see huge trees uprooted and lying across parked cars on the curb. Jamie White snapped this photo following the residual Hurricane Ike's attack on Louisville, KY, on Sunday, September 14, 2008, and writes: "We watched the entire yard move up and down on Sunday afternoon as the remnants of Hurricane Ike whipped through Louisville with 75 mph winds. This weeping willow held on for a couple of hours when it finally toppled at about 3:00pm." That's the photographer's son, Harper White in front of the downed tree at his, and Richard and Jamie White's backyard. Harper is the grandson of Jimmy and Donna Harper of Columbia, KY. Jamie White wrote, this morning, Tuesday, September 16, 2008, "We are hoping to get our power back today," and adds, "You should see our front yard!!!!"
