Letter: Reader wants to know about CM Benefits policy

BENEFITS & FUNDRAISERS

To ColumbiaMagazine.com:

I would like to know if you will advertise a benefit auction that I am going to have for my neighbor who was seriously injured in a motorcyle wreck? I know your magazine reaches a lot of people and this is a good way to get the word out. If so I will send the info.

Thanks,s/Diana

The answer is that we do regularly publicize benefits and fundraisers. Benefits are advertised free for persons in Adair, Casey, Cumberland, Green, Metcalfe, Russell and Taylor Counties and for persons having a direct connection to the area. In addition, we often post the benefits in classifieds and in the CM Community Events calendar. We do ask that complete sponsorship and contact information accompany the request; and the benefits are post at our option. Of course, We reserve the right to edit and maintain the right to refuse some announcements. Sponsors may also purchase paid additional advertising or photos, but that is strictly a decision of the sponsor. Links to other sites or references to photos available offsite are subject to a $25 charge in classifieds. -CM
