Ned Carlyn (Buddy) Reagin, Sr. 65, dies in GA

Ned Carlyn (Buddy) Reagin, Sr., 65, of Hazelhurst, GA, died Thursday, September 4, 2008, in Georgia.

The funeral service will be Sunday, September 7, 2008, at Miles Funeral Home in Hazelhurst, GA, at 3:00pm, with Rev. Charles Carter officiating. Burial will be in Midway Baptist Church Cemetery, in Appling Co., GA.



He is survived by his wife, Betty Louise Kersey Reagin, Hazelhurst, GA, and the following:
  • Three sons and daughters in law: Ned Carlyn and Bridgett Reagin, Edmonton, KY; Thomas Mitchell and Sherry Reagin and Timothy Doyle and Lisa Reagin, all of Hazelhurst, GA

  • One sister: Ella Vee Braswell, Adrian, GA

  • One brother: Mervyn Reagin, Sacremento, CA

  • Six grandchildren, including locally, Patrick Reagin, Columbia, KY
Mr. Reagin was a native and lifelong resident of Jeff Davis County. He was the son of the late Carlton Reagin and Christine Dyal Reagin. He was retired from Americord.
