ACHS Girls Golf finishes 10 places higher at Lady Bruin this year Girls Golf Schedule with team photo ColumbiaMagazine.com SPORTS Team shows remarkable improvement over 2007. Lauren Goodin places 6th out of 105 players and receives All State points for top seven finish By Kim Goodin, ACHS Girls' Golf coach The girls' golf team competed in the Lady Bruin Invitational this past Saturday, August 16, 2008, at Lindsey Golf Course, Ft. Knox, KY. The team shot a 387 finishing 7th overall out of 19 teams. Last year, the girls shot a 415 placing them 17th in the field of 20. Shelby Co. won the tournament shooting a 352. Lydia Gumm of North Hardin (73) took individual honors defeating Kelsey Burrell (73) of Franklin Simpson on the second hole of a playoff. Lauren Goodin finished 6th out of 105 golfers competing. Lauren received a trophy plus All State points for finishing in the top seven. Other ACHS individual scoring:
