Motorcyclist, passenger, airlifted after Marion crash

POLICE REPORTS

Mechanical problems were the cause of a westbound 1995 Honda motorcycle crash on US 68 in Marion County which resulted in injuries to the rider and a passenge, Kentucky State Police say.

The crash occurred at approximately 4:00pmET/3:00pmCT, Saturday, August 16, 2008.

Russell Craft, 52, the operator, amd a passenger, Teresa Craft, 53, both of Jeffersonville, IN, were s taken by EMS to Springview Medical Center in Lebanon, KY, and was then airlifted the the University of Louisville Hospital.

Both were wearing helmets at the time of the accident.
