Parks & Rec meets tonight at 7:00pmCT

The Columbia Parks & Recreation Board meets tonight, Thursday, August 7, 2008, in the Council Meeting Room in City Hall, 116 Campbellsville ST, Colulmbia, KY, with the following items for discussion:
  • Discussion of the grant turndown and reapplication for volleyball courts
  • Discussion of a sign for the Fairgrounds Park playground
  • Discussion of the Second Sunday, October 12, 2008, when a Columbia City Street will be closed for 4 hours for walking and bicycle riding
Charles Grimsley is chairman of the five member board, which also includes David Herbst, Richard Phelps, Greg Thomas, and Donna Shirley. The Parks & Rec board meets regularly each 1st and 3rd Thursday.
