Thirty mile ride will take about 2-2.5 hours, with 5-10 riders in group

A group of riders from Lindsey Wilson College will depart today, Thursday, August 7, 2008 at 5:00pmCT from the Richardson Dorm parking lot on Young Street. The route is basically as follows:

  1. Richardson parking lot to Bull Run;
  2. Bull Run to 551 (turn left);
  3. 551 to Holmes Bend Rd (turn right);
  4. Holmes Bend Rd to Vanhoy (530) (turn left);
  5. Vanhoy to Cane Valley Rd (turn right);
  6. Cane Valley to Cane Valley Church Rd (turn left);
  7. Cross 55 onto 633 (Cane Valley Church Rd becomes 633 after crossing 55);
  8. 633 (which changes road names when crossing county lines) to Coburg Rd (also KY-1913) (turn right);
  9. Coburg Rd to Coburg Lane (behind store at Coburg) (turn right);
  10. Coburg Lane to 55 (turn right);
  11. 55 to Kellyville Rd (682) (turn left);
  12. Kellyville Rd to Bridgewater Rd (turn right);
  13. Bridgewater Rd to 682 (Mt. Carmel) (turn left);
  14. 682 to Holmes Bend Rd (turn right);
  15. Holmes Bend Rd to 551 (turn left);
  16. 551 to Bull Run (turn right);
  17. Bull Run to 206 (turn right); and
  18. 206 to Richardson Parking Lot.
I hope that I got all of the road names and turns listed correctly. I think the route is about 30 miles. There will be between 5 and 10 riders. -MIKE RATLIFF
