Letter: Would love to see more Taylor County Fair photos About: Taylor County Fair Photo To ColumbiaMagazine.com: The Taylor County Fair is still held on the same land but as Larry correctly stated, those structures are long gone. I can assure you that the current Taylor County Fair Association appreciates the history of the land that we are priveliged to use each year and have done so since 1998 as we try to rebuild the strong fair that Taylor County used to have years ago. The field Larry refers to is used for parking and our carnival midway each year. I am assuming this photo is looking to the east towards Lebanon so our current livestock barns and track would be at the end of this photo. If Larry has more old fair photos we would love to see them! s/Bryan Blair This story was posted on 2008-08-07 01:39:27
