Agrees on CMs position on gas consumption

Plus: Wants Sidewalks, hiking biking trails, and support for Columbia Rotary Club program

Ed:

I agree with the CM position on gas consumption. But I would add the need for the city and county to work together to make both walking and biking safer. We need to continue the city's expansion of sidewalks and to work on a city/county bike trail. Not an easy task, but I think we should be working toward that end, for both the health and safety of our residents and to encourage tourism. Also, let's all support Columbia Rotary Club's effort to encourage walking as part of our need to improve our health.

s/George Kolbeschlag

Editor note: We agree with you on every single point. -CM
