School Start: Certified employees to LWC Aug. 6, 2008 Bully Free Program (TM) speaker to be keynote speaker for Adair County School District certified employees; classified employees are to check with supervisors for instructions for August 6, 2008 By Phyllis Curry, Instructional Supervisor Adair County School District All certified employees of the Adair County School District are to report to Cranmer Dining Center on the campus of Lindsey Wilson College Wednesday morning, August 6, 2008, for Opening Day Activities. Registration and breakfast will begin at 7:00amCT in the dining center. The program begins at 8:30am in the same location. The keynote speaker will be Mrs. Cathy Barnard, an associate of Dr. Allen Bean, writer and founder of the Bully Free Program (TM). Mrs. Barnard recently retired after 32 years as a public school teacher, principal and administrator. She implemented the Bully Free Program (TM) in her school in the Anchorage Independent School District with excellent results. Following the morning program, employees will report to their respective schools for the remainder of the day or follow instructions given to the by their school principals. This is a regular work day in the school calendar and does not count as professional development.
