Open letter to home invasion robbers The New Montpelier Neighborhood Watch Group sends warning to thieves, their parents: Outlaw behavior won't be tolerated To thieves, via ColumbiaMagazine.com In the afternoon hours of July 10, 2008, 765 Montpelier was ransacked and robbed. A bedroom door was kicked right off the door jamb. A flat screen TV and computer were taken as well as some personal items belonging to the home's children. (The family that purchased a nice flatscreen TV, needs to call police: you know how you got it) The ruse these guys were using was to stop and ask residents for gas and if no one was home they'd kick the door in to rob the home. This young woman is quite upset but is a survivor. We, as her neighbors, will stand by her and offer all information we can give police to put the low life scumbags in prison for a very long time. These two individuals have messed with the wrong neibborhood. So beware, we are watching, writing down license plates, physical decriptions, documenting time and place. You won't get away with terrorizing old women and young woman and children. You are hereby warned to stay out of our area. And as for your parents: you should be ashamed that your children are stealing from your neighbors. You are aiding and abetting by stashing the stolen merchandise at your home. Make it right and turn your thieving sons into the law. Don't wait until they actually surprise someone in their homes and make a huge, drug crazed mistake, or pick the wrong house to enter and are shot. Parents you know what's going on. Do the right thing. s/Heidi Caron For The New Montpelier Neighborhood Watch Group This story was posted on 2008-07-14 09:58:10
