Obituary: Barkley Dulin, 84

Mrs. Dulin was a member of Columbia Baptist Church and had retired from the Bank of Columbia. She was the member of an Adair County family highly respected for its industry and achievements. She is warmly remembered for her wonderful smile and friendly manner.

Barkley Dulin, 84, of Columbia, KY, died July 5, 2008, at 12:30am, at Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego, California.

The funeral service will be Saturday, July 12, 2008, at 1:00pmCT at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Dwight Simpson officiating.



She was a daughter of the late George Washington and Dolly Lee Tarter McLean, the widow of Howard Dulin, and a member of the Columbia Baptist Church. She was retired from the Bank of Columbia.Survivors include the following:
  • One son and daughter in law: Kenneth and Vickie Dulin of Columbia.

  • Mary Jane and Dwight Simpson of San Diego, CA

  • Two grandchildren: Stacy Lynn Schindler and Dwight David Simpson

  • Six great grandchildren: Kasey Bailey, Kassi Bailey, Blake Schindler, Crimson Simpson, Jade Simpson, and Dawson Schindler

  • One sister: Bobbie Ellis Burton, Columbia, KY
Visitation will be after 4:00pmCT, Friday, July 11, 2008, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, Columbia, KY.

Burial will be in Haven Hill Cemetery.
