All 7 occupants injured in 2 vehicle collision near Loretto, KY POLICE REPORTS All seven occupants involved in a two car collision on KY 49 in Loretto, KY, on Monday evening, July 7, 2008, were injured. Jeffrey D. Walton, 27, Lebanon, KY, was travelling north on KY 49 in a 1996 Chevrolet and swerved to miss a vehicle stopped in the road, then struck a vehicle in the southbound lane operated by Anthony Atwood, 44. Jeffrey Walton was transferred to the University of Louisville Hospital, as was a passenger, Amy Elam, 21, Lebanon, KY. Three other occupants of the Walton vehicle, Travis Keeling, 20, Kevin Wethington, 42, and Marissa Keeling, 22 months and in child restraint seat, all of Lebanon, KY, were treated and released at Springview Hospital in Lebanon, KY. None of the adult occupants of the Walton vehicle were wearing seatbelts. The driver of the second vehicle, Anthony Atwood, and a passenger, Daniel Atwood, 17, were treated and released at Springview Hospital in Lebanon, KY. Both were wearing seatbelts. The incident was investigated by Trooper John Adams of Kentucky State Police Post 15, Columbia, KY.
