Swimming lessons starting July 14, 2008 By Greg Thomas The Columbia City Pool will be offering swimming lessons the week of Monday, July 14, 2008 starting at 5:30pm until 6:30pmCT. The cost for the lessons is $35 for the week or $8 a day. The daily admissionat the pool is $2.00 a day with three year olds and under getting in free with a paying adult. The regular pool hours are: Monday - Saturday, Noon to 5pm and Sundays 1:00pm to 5:00pm. The pool offers a large swimming pool that ranges from three feet deep to ten feet with a diving board on the deep end. There is also water volleyball and basketball in the large pool. A kiddy pool is located beside the main pool that ranges from 18 inches to nine inches deep with a patio deck around it for sunning. Refreshments such as hot dogs, candy bars, and soft drinks are available at the snake bar. Party times may be booked by calling the pool at 384-1704 during regular pool hours. Parties cost $30 an hour with a minimum of two hours. A life guard is provided and you are encouraged to bring all your favorite party supplies. This story was posted on 2008-07-08 17:05:09
