Obituary: Fannie Flowers, 71, member First Baptist Church

She was a respected member of a popular South Columbia family

Fannie Flowers, 71, Columbia, KY, died Thursday, July 3, 2008, at 4:43pm, at Springview Hospital in Lebanon, KY.

The funeral service will be Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at 1:00pmCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY, with Rev. Leon Lasley officiating.



She was the daughter of the late Frank and Della Jones Flowers and was a member of First Baptist Church, Columbia, KY.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters: brothers Frank, JR., Edgar, and Tommy Flowers; and sisters Mary Ruth English, Ernestine Flowers, Dimple Bridgewaters, Rebecca Walkup, and Geneva Johnson.

She is survived by several nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be after 6:00pmCT, Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home.
