Yard Sales: Today, Saturday, July 5, 2008 another big day Despite the rain, the gas prices, and the economy, Adair Countians are having a great Fourth of July weekend. Many have used the restrictions to their advantage, seeing things close at home, shopping for bargains, and finding yard sales as much fun for getting to know neighbors as they are for buying bargains. ColumbiaMagazine.com's free Yard Sale classifieds seem to be helping, we're happy to hear. Here's a letter we received a few hours ago: Mr. Waggener, We still have lots of bargains left, and more to be brought in the morning. We will open at 7:00amCT Saturday morning, July 5, 2008, with the sale ending tomorrow this afternoon. Thanks again for all of your support and advertising. As always happily reading columbiamagazine.com, s/Telissa MooreOur thanks to everyone at the sale for their wonderful Adair County hospitality. The sale is worth a visit if just to sneak a peak at how delightful life high on the ridge at Garlin can be, with all the wonderful views. -EW This story was posted on 2008-07-05 05:11:03
