Obituary: Wanda Gaskins, 58, dies after brief illness COLUMBIAMAGAZINE.COM OBITUARIES Mrs. Gaskins was a highly respected citizen of the Ella Community. She attended the Millerfield Brethren in Christ Church, and was employed at the Galillean Home and Academy in Casey County. She was the head of a large Northeast Adair family, and leaves 15 direct descendants. Wanda Gaskins, age 58, 10973 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY,(the Ella Community) in Adair County, passed away Wednesday,July 3, 2008 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, in Somerset, KY, after a short illness. The funeral service will be Sunday, July 6, 2008 at 2:00pmCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg ST, Columbia, KY, with Rev. Richard Lehman the officiating clergy. She was born November 29, 1949, the daughter of the late: Woodrow Kendall of Indiana. She is survived by her mother, Wilma Love Kendall, of Bunker Hill, IN, and herher husband, Phillip Gaskins, , of Columbia, KY, and the following:
Mrs. Gaskins was employed by the Galillean Children's Christian Academy inCasey County, KY and attended the Millerfield Brethren in Christ Church.
