Local artists instruct at 4-H Summer Arts Camp

By Debbie Cowan

The Adair County 4-H program along with the Family Resource Center and Art department at Adair Elementary School recently collaborated to host a Summer Arts Camp for local students.

Twenty- six students participated in this week long camp at Adair Elementary. They were able to learn more about photography, pottery and ceramics, watercolor painting, woodworking, weaving, sewing, gourd painting and crafts.

Thanks to the following persons for volunteering their time to help with the camp: Paula Bault, Donnie Perry, David Waltz, Lila Loy and daughter, Henrietta Scott, Kara Feese, Sena Schaefer and Frankie Sample.
