The First Annual Fogy Float held on GRL SOCIETY NEWS By Barbara Armitage The eight fearless founding members of the "Right Honorable Society of Old Fogies Paddling, Drinking and Debating Society" held their 1st annual "Fogy Float" on Green River Lake on Friday June 27th. The courageous adventurers launched canoes and kayaks at Snake Creek to begin their trip up the mighty Green River tributary. Traveling in the style in which they would like to become accustomed the group was treated to a gourmet picnic lunch at the midway point of the trip. The delicious repast graciously provided by Rose Joynt, Most Exalted Caterer to the Society. The travelers reluctantly ended their trip at Arnold's Landing, proving once again that "age is a matter of grey matter". Members of the "Right Honorable Society of Old Fogies Paddling, Drinking and Debating Society" are Jerry Holt, Sally Keith, Steve Keith, Nancy Cozby, Rose Joynt, Stuart Joynt, Barbara Armitage and Wayne Armitage.
