Sale of Delinquent 2007 Oil Taxes set for June 27, 2008

The Adair County Sheriff's Office has announced a list of delinquent tax bills for 2007 which will be offered for sale at the Adair County Courthouse on June 27, 2008, at 9:00am.

The largest tax bill listed to be sold is #40olx, Mid America, for $6,415.64. Six other bills range from $36.41 to $55.69.




According to the announcement, "Delinquent tax claims when sold become a lien on the property described on the face of the tax bill and are subject to 12% interest per annum," and "Payments made after the Sheriff's Delinquent tax claim are subject to a 20% county attorney fee and a 10% county clerk's fee."For complete details at the Adair County Sheriff's website, Click Here
