The Loy blood line begins with the linage of Martin Loy, born 1741, in Germany and traces the descendents of his children as they migrated across the United States. A grandson, Martin Loy, settled in Adair Co., KY and is the ancestor of the Loy surname and many other families found in Adair, Russell and surrounding counties. Published by Genealogy Publishing Service, Franklin, NC, this book comprises of over 1000 pages including a comprehensive 200+ page index and photographs. It is made of top quality faux leather, acid free paper, hard-bound with gold- stamped lettering that should last up to 200+ years. The book is available for $85 plus $10 S/H.
