Jeanette Aaron retires from Adair County School System

Jeanette Aaron is retiring after 28 years of service to the Adair County School System. She served at John Adair from 1980-1990, ACHS from 1990-2000 as a business teacher, and finally from Adair Youth Development Center as a math teacher from 2000-2008.

She was one of the first teachers at Adair Youth Development Center when it opened after going through the Department of Juvenile Justice Academy 25.



Jeanette received her AA degree from LWC, BS degree from Campbellsville University, and her master's degree from Western Kentucky University. In 2007, she received the Excellence in Teaching Award from Campbellsville University.

She is the daughter of the late William Antle and Christine Antle. She has been married for 45 years to Bill Aaron. They have three children, Tony Aaron, Angie Hixson, and Amy Cox.

A retirement luncheon was held in her honor by her co-workers and friends at Adair Youth Development Center on June 6, 2008.

JEANETTE AARON was honored with a retirement luncheon on Friday, June 6, 2008, at AYDC, where she taught mathematics. Her 28 year career was distingushed with the a Master's Degree from Western Kentucky University. In 2007, her exceptional classroom work earned her f the prestigious Excellence in Teaching Award from Campbellsville University.
