Precious little girl, Ruby Ann Miller, is home "Thanks to Grace of God, she made it." Family is thankful for your prayers. They are still needed With photo To ColumbiaMagazine.com from Jarrett & Kathryn Miller: On February 9, 2008, our little girl, Ruby Anne Miller, came into the world thanks to the staff at Westlake Hospital. She was 16 weeks premature and weighed only 1 pound, 6 ounces and was only 10 1/2 inches long. She did not have a very strong chance of survival, but the doctor and staff in the ER at Westlake did not give up on her. She spent over 3 months at Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville where she made a remarkable recovery. She had many hurdles to overcome, but thanks to the grace of God, she made it. She came home on May 15, 2008. She weighed 4 pounds 8 ounces when she came home and is now already 5 pounds 9 ounces and 19 inches long. She will be on an apnea monitor for a little while, but not too much longer. She will still need continued prayer, but she has come such a long way. Thank you everyone who prayed for Ruby. Sincerely, Jarrett & Kathryn Miller This story was posted on 2008-06-03 04:27:32
