Dr. Morrison appointed visiting professor at U. Salamanca

Columbia native Dr. Robert Morrison has received a prestigious academic appointment as visiting professor at the University of Salamanca in Spain.

The University of Salamanca, founded in 1218, similar to its contemporaries Oxford and Cambridge, is one of the World's oldest universities and counts legendary explorer Hernan Cortez as one of its alumni.

King Ferdinand required Christopher Columbus to argue his case that the World was round before the faculty of Salamanca.

Dr. Morrison will be teaching management and international business. He is a faculty member at the University of Texas Pan American.
