Letter: Russell County is getting O Ambassador program

Writer suggests it might be good here

Hi Ed,

Earlier today I watched the Oprah show about her O Ambassador program. I thought you might like to know about an Adair County connection to this program.

My daughter, Candi O'Dell, grew up in Adair County and is a teacher at Russell County Middle School.

Several months ago she applied to establish the O Ambassador program for her school. After going through a very selective process, she was notified a couple of months ago that she was chosen.

This is a wonderful program to teach children about the needs of underdeveloped countries and ways in which they can make a difference. Teachers are encouraged to apply. Maybe others would like to check this program out. The information can be found on the Oprah web-site.

Sincerely,

s/Donita Loy-Hortillosa
