Parson, 90 COLUMBIAMAGAZINE.COM OBITUARIES She was a member of a highly respected Columbia family and is remembered by many for her years as a beloved teacher in the Adair County School system Hazel K. Parson, 90, of Columbia, KY, died Thursday, May 22, 2008, at 3:42pm at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY. The funeral service will be Sunday, May 25, 2008, at 2:00pmCT at Columbia First Church of the Nazarene with Bro. Jerry Cline, Bro. Scott Ezell, and Bro. David Car officiating. A native of Russell County, she was the daughter of the late William Robert and Mora Ella Sullivan Kilpatrick, the widow of Robert Campbell Parson, a member of the Columbia Church of the Nazarene and had retired after 30 years of teaching in the Adair County School system Survivors include the following:
Visitation will be after 5:00pmCT, Saturday, May 24, 2008, and 7:00amCT at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home and after 1:00pm Sunday at the church. Grissom-Martin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
