Letter: Crusade for Children asks churches for help Dear Adair County Congregations: Here is a sample letter that we have sent out to churches. If you haven't received one here is what we are mailing to all churches on our mailing list. Each year the Columbia-Adair County Fire Department and the fire departments at Knifley and Breeding work to raise money for the Crusade for Children. This is a great charity where 100% of all money received will be returned to local area schools for grants. Your church has been a part of this and for that we are thankful. It's Crusade time again and we are asking for your help again on Sunday June 1, and Friday, June 6 and Saturday, June 7, 2008. Donald Hare, Public Affairs Officer, The Columbia-Adair County Fire Department This story was posted on 2008-05-22 04:52:26
