ACHS wins first game of District Baseball Tournament

Team assured of berth in 5th Regional Tournament with this victory

Last night, Monday, May 19, 2008, the Adair County High School just won the first game of the 20th District Tournament in Campbellsville, KY.

Coach Ryan McQueary's team faced off against Marion County, beating the Knights from Lebanon, KY, 5-3.



The Indians will play the winner of the Tuesday, May 20, 2008 Taylor Co. vs Campbellsville game for the 20th District Championship on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 in Campbellsville.

The win automatically puts the Indians in the 5th Region playoffs, a feat not accomplished since the great team of 1999, when Coach Troy Young a a team which included Jeremy McQueary, Nick Genakos, Josh Myers, and Matt Edwards played as runners-up.
