Lindsey Wilson Women's Tennis Falls in National Semifinals ColumbiaMagazine.com SPORTS By Chris Wells, LWC Sports Information Director MOBILE, AL -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's tennis team's quest for the program's first-ever NAIA national championship ended today in the national semifinals. The third-seeded Blue Raiders fell to No. 2-seed Fresno Pacific (Calif.) University 5-2 at the Mobile Convention Center. The Blue Raiders battled back with wins at No. 1 and No. 2 singles to cut the Sunbird lead to 4-2. Lindsey Wilson senior Candela Castanon defeated Fresno's Angelina Minova 7-5, 4-6, 7-5 while Blue Raider junior Fadzai Mawisire won 7-5, 6-4 over Anna Karavayeva.
