Adair Garden Club membership increases

More volunteers needed. Columbia, Adair should be prettier this year with the 1,000 zinnia seedballs given about to folks in the area. Call (270) 250-2979 to join

Ed,

Thanks so much for the article on volunteering with the Garden Club Columbia Magazine is the place to go when you need something done.

Our first new volunteer, Maury Lewis called almost immediately after you posted the story. I cant wait to see how many new friends we can make this spring.

I hope that everyone keeps a close watch on the lovely new gardens around town that the Adair County Garden Club is working on. By the way the Garden Club has given away almost 1,000 Zinnia seed balls to folks in the area so we expect a rainbow of flowers to appear in a few weeks making Adair County prettier than ever.

Thanks again for your help. If you would like information on the Adair County Garden Club and what we do call Barbara Armitage at (270) 250-2979.The Garden Club meets on the 4th Thursday of the month in various locations. Watch CM EVENTS for coming schedules.

s/Barbara Armitage
