GAS PRICE DRUMBEAT: Don't buy gas on 2 days a week Says not buying gas on Thursdays and Fridays might get price drop To ColumbiaMagazine.com: As everyone knows, the price of gas is going up, but is there a reason for the gas to be 10 cents higher here in Adair County, and who is behind the pricing? The gas in Burkesville is $3.45 gal, and $3.55 in Russell County. We are going to Campbellsville tonight and I will see what the price is there. Someone is getting their pockets filled, and it's hard enough for everyone to pay these prices, much less spiking it at a $3.75 per gallon. Ten cents makes a big difference. I believe if everyone would stop buying gas on Thursdays and Fridays, maybe they would drop the price to match other counties. s/By Lillie Stephens This story was posted on 2008-05-08 19:02:18
