Obituary: Irene H. Royse, 96, dies in Edmonton, KY COLUMBIAMAGAZINE.COM OBITUARIES Mrs. Royse was a member of a highly respected family with strong roots in Adair and Metcalfe Counties. She was a retired beautician and a member of the Columbia Baptist Church. Irene H. Royse, 96, formerly of Columbia, KY, died Tuesday, May 6, 2008, at 3:15pmCT, at the Metcalfe Health Care Center in Edmonton, KY. The funeral service will be Friday, May 9, 2008, at 1:00pm, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home. 200 Campbellsville ST, Columbia, KY, with Rev. Randy Johnson and Bro. Greg Estes officiating. Burial will be in Edmonton Cemetery. A native of Metcalfe County, she was the daughter of the late Noah Jackson and Emma Sherman Demumbrun Hamilton, the widow of Ores Royse, a member of the Columbia Baptist Church, and a retired beautician.She is surived by the following:
