Ninety-one golfers in 2008 C-AC FD Crusade tournament

The 2008 Columbia/Adair County Fire Department/Pinewood Crusade for Children Annual Golf Tournment drew 91 entrants this year, and though it ended in rain, all golfers were able to finish.The tournament was held in memory of avid golfer Sam Bivens, who died January 3, 2008.

Winners were as follows:



First Place: The big finishers were Curtis Corder, drew Burwash, Mike Mantooth, and Jack Collins, who came won First Place with a score of 55.

Second Place: Chris Coomer, Anthony Janes, Todd Wilson, and Timmy Rose, with a score of 60.

Third Place: Rodney Hudley, Mike Talent, Wayne Gaskins, and J.D. Biggs, 60.

Closest to Pin winners: Charlie Hancock, Brian Popplewell, Jack Stephens, and Van Giles. Dr. Ronald P. Rogers was the sponsor.
