By David Cazalet, Jr

Somerset Community College will host the last College Transfer Fair of the academic year on Thursday, April 24, 2008, from 10amET to 1pmET in the Harold Rogers Student Commons Citizens National Bank Community Room on the SCC Somerset Campus North.

Lindsey Wilson College, Columbia, KY, and Campbellsville University, Campbellsville, KY, will be among the 16 to 20 Kentucky colleges and universities which will have representatives on the SCC campus to assist students and the public with any questions they may have about transferring or enrolling in their institutions.

The College Transfer Fair is being hosted by SCC and the Kentucky Association of College Registrars and Admissions Officers (KACRAO).

This is a true one-stop shopping opportunity for anyone who is interested in enrolled in one of Kentuckys four-year universities or colleges, Roger Hollars, the SCC College Transfer Liaison, said. All the information one might need about tuition, financial aid, scholarships and housing can be answered by attending our College Transfer Fair.

Colleges and universities currently scheduled to be present for the SCC College Transfer Fair include, besides Lindsey Wilson and Campbellsville University: Bellarmine University, Indiana Wesleyan University, Midway College, the University of Kentucky, the University of the Cumberlands, United Parcel Services Metro College, Union College, the University of Louisville, Sullivan University, Western Kentucky University, Northern Kentucky University, Eastern Kentucky University, Morehead State University, and Thomas More College.
