Bray Earns Mid-South Conference Honors

COLUMBIA, KY -- Lindsey Wilson College junior outfielder Nathan Bray has been named Mid-South Conference Player of the Week for the week ending April 13, 2008 according to the conference.

Bray, a Somerset, KY, native, hit .483 (14-for-29) on the week helping the Blue Raiders to a 4-4 week.



In addition to his stellar batting average, Bray hit a pair of home runs, drove in 10 runs and scored nine times. He was also perfect on the base paths, stealing four bases.

Bray recorded a pair of three-hit days on the week.

He went 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs in the Blue Raiders 17-11 win over Indiana University Southeast and went 3-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs in an 11-6 win over Pikeville (KY) College.

Bray is hitting .361 this season, second on the team, with five home runs and 30 RBIs.

He is the son of Doug and Sandy Bray of Somerset, KY.

Lindsey Wilson returns to action at noon CT on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 as the Blue Raiders host Freed-Hardeman (TN) University at Raider Field.
