Remembering Dora Helen Bennett Thompson
By Jennifer Appleby
Ma Helen will be greatly missed and always loved!! The Bennett Family Gospel Singers lost one of their own yesterday, Helen Thompson. She will be missed by many! Jesus has a new Angel with him now.

I can see her now, beside Jesus strumming her mandelin and singing "I'm a Winner Either Way."

She was a fighter all the way to the end. She will no longer be in any pain nor suffer anymore. She has now joined her husband, Owen Thompson, and other family members, with her new family with Jesus.

As I told our daughter, Samantha, of the news of Ma's passing, she screamed "No!" and melted in my arms, then a couple hours later as she was standing beside me, out of the blue she said, "Ma Helen is standing beside you, Moma, and she will always be with us with her angel winds,"

If a nine year old saying that does not bring tears to your eyes, nothing will.

We love you Ma Helen!!

-Chris, Jennifer, Samantha, and Zachary Appleby
