Ann, Fiscal Court announce dumpster locations, free tipping

Judge Executive Ann Melton and the Adair County Fiscal Court, in conjunction with PRIDE cleanup, will have their annual dumpsters and free-tipping days at the Adair County Transfer Station.

This is a great chance for Adair County to properly dispose of unwanted materials.



WHEN: Friday, April 18, 2008, and Saturday, April 19, 2008

TIME:
Friday, 7:30am till 3:00pmCT
Saturday, 7:30am till 12:00noonCT

LOCATIONS:
  1. Breeding Fire Dept.
  2. Cane Valley, at feed store
  3. Knifley Fire Dept
  4. Pellyton Fire Dept
  5. Hwy E80lawnmower repair shop
  6. Gradyville
  7. Glensfork
  8. Portland
UNACCEPTABLE ITEMS:
  1. No sealed containers with paint
  2. No tanks (acetylene, oxygen, propane)
  3. No steel cables
  4. No tires
  5. No capacitors
  6. Nothing hazardous
  7. No televisions
  8. No batteriesthey may be disposed of at Recycling
There will be county personnel at each dumpster location to help unload.

SPECIAL NOTE: This is only for residents of Adair County.

If dumpsters are full please do not leave debris, trash, and garbage lying on ground beside dumpsters.
