Redbuds seedlings, all 2,000, are here. Handout underway today By Sue Stivers Two thousand redbuds have arrived at the Columbia-Adair County Chamber of Commerce Office, located at 201 Burkesville Street, in Columbia, KY. The redbud sedlings give away started today, Monday, April 7, 2008, beginning at 1:30pmCT. Bring with you any kind of plastic bag, such as a grocery bag, or newspapers or anything you choose to cover the roots when you take your redbuds home with you. The redbuds are given through a grant from Tour Southern Kentucky as a part of its Scenic Byway program. The redbuds will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.
