The two will speak at the Rotary Club's May 12, 2008, meeting at 6:00pmCT, at Cranmer Dining Center at Lindsey Wilson College.

The talks are expected to give details of part of the most exciting year ever in expansion at the college, including the fitness wellness center, which is scheduled to have an indoor swimming pool and which will be built at the site of the present Lindsey Wilson Raider Field at the intersection of Young and Williams Streets.

Details on the new football program stadium, baseball stadium and athletic park adjacent to the Louie B. Nunn Parkway, with the stadium overlooking the parkway as well as the field, are also expected.

Community leaders have expressed optimism that the expansion package at Lindsey Wilson, which totals approximately $28 million in construction in 2008, will be a major economic boost this year as well as in years to come.

The football program, accompanied by the addition of a marching band, is expected to add some 450 students to the school's enrollment, boosting enrollment well past the 2,000 mark.

All are welcome.
