Beta Fundraiser on Friday, April 4, 2008, honors Blane

The Beta Club and Student Council have been collecting money at school to contribute to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. One fundraiser is a head-shaving competition.

Student and teacher volunteers are competing to see which person can get the most money in their individual containers that are set out during lunch for students to drop money in.



This Friday, April 4, 2008, at noon, a teacher and student will have their heads shaved in honor of Blane Bardin, son of ACHS' own Shawn Bardin, and to help the L & L Society. Also, Mrs. Judy Reliford will be cutting 12" of her hair to donate to "Locks of Love."

Those who would like to contribute should make checks to: Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and mail checks to: Adair County High School Beta Club, attn: Keri Willis, Adair County High School, 526 Indian Drive, Columbia, KY 42728. (If you have questions, call Keri Willis at 270 384-2851.We would like for you to come and take pictures to be published about our event. We should begin around 12:00 in the gym.
