Tpr 1st Class Underwood Special Operations Trooper of the Year

Trooper First Class Ricky Underwood, a Campbellsville, KY native, was selected as Trooper of the Year for the Special Operations Section of the Kentucky State Police.

Trooper Underwood joined the Kentucky State Police in July of 1989 and was assigned to the Columbia Post for several years both as a Trooper and a Detective.



Trooper Underwood is currently assigned to the Kentucky State Police Canine Section.

"We would like to thank Trooper First Class Ricky Underwood and his wife, Rita, for their dedicated service to the Kentucky State Police," Trooper Dwaine Barnett, Public Affairs Officer, Kentucky State Poiice Post 15, Columbia, KY, said.
