Obituary: Sallie S. Nell, 84, former Columbia resident OBITUARIES She was an artist, gardener, and basketball. She loved music, nature, and reading Sallie S. Nell, 84, passed away at her home in Berea, KY, Monday, March 24, 2008. She was the wife of the late George O. Nell, M.D., of Columbia, KY. She was an artist, an avid gardener, and a basketball fan. She loved music, nature, and reading. She raised four children, James Nell of Nashville, TN; Kathy Nell of Berea, KY; Sandy Nell Wills, Pioneer, TN: and John Nell, Nashville, TN. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Clayton Nell, Zachary Nell, Brittney Nell, and Kristen Nell. The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers, that support be give to your local Humane Society or local Hospice Care Center.
