Gas Price Drumbeat: Shops for groceries out-of-town, too To ColumbiaMagazine.com: My husband and I just made a trip to Nashville, TN on Tuesday. Gas in Franklin, KY was $3.06 per gallon. Why is Columbia always so much higher then the counties around us? I never buy gas in Adair County, nor do I grocery shop here.Hey! I'm sorry that I take my money out of Adair County, but I will go where it is cheaper. If everyone would go out of Adair County to buy their gas, maybe they would bring the prices down. s/L. Stephens Thanks. Your position is understood. We won't go out of Adair County to buy gas. We buy from locally owned gas stations because we don't believe that they should be penalized for something which isn't their fault. -EW This story was posted on 2008-03-25 19:44:51
