Good news: Let us prepare the fatted country ham! The prodigal historian reporteth; there is much rejoicing up 206! Jason Harmon will lead walking tour of Bearwallow Cemetery on Memorial Day weekend Ed, Sorry, that I have been AWOL for so long. I will be in Adair County for Memorial Day weekend. I am planning on a walking tour of Bearwallow Cemetery during that weekend. I was surprised that so many people showed an interest in the tour and our shared history. I hope it can become an annual event. So far, I plan on doing it for donations to the cemetery fund and I have been working on a small picturesque pamphlet to go along with the tour complete with a pedigree chart for everyone. Then I plan on taking the group around the cemetery, stopping at notable graves and telling a few brief stories about some of our kin. I hope it turns out as well as I have always envisioned. Perhaps, you or Linda can stop in for a few pictures. s/Jason Harmon This story was posted on 2008-03-24 12:33:15
