Taylor Homemakers offer $500 scholarships to CHS, THS seniors

By Carolyn Morris

The Taylor County Extension Homemakers are pleased to announce that they are again offering college scholarships this year.

Graduating seniors in Campbellsville and Taylor County High School Districts are invited to apply for the $500 award. One scholarship is given in each of the districts.

In addition to academic, financial and extra-curricular considerations, applicants will be judged on involvement in Family and Consumer Sciences, FCCLA, 4-H and other Family & Consumer Science related courses and activities.

Applications are available from school counselors, Family & Consumer Sciences teachers, and the Taylor County Extension Office. These must be completed by April 25th and returned to the Extension Office at 1143 South Columbia Avenue.

For more information, please contact the Taylor County Extension Office at (270) 465-4511.
