    PUPPY LOVE: Maedell Walker, holds her 3-month old spitz, Fluff, who recently arrived at the Walker place to reorganize things around there. Both subjects look happy with the new arrangment. Never think an animal can't feel love for persons who treat them with kindness. In the photo above the camera clearly captured the look of pure adoration the little dog has as he gazes into the face of his mistress. Fluff knows he is one doggoned lucky pup! Besides having Maedell, Fluff also gets attention from her five lovely granddaughters. Maedell and her husband, the late Russell Walker have three children, a daughter Becky, and twin sons Barry and Jerry Walker. Since her retirement a few years ago Maedell has had time to enjoy her needlework, cross stitching and quilting which she loves. She also likes to travel but says she isn't planning any trips this year. Some of her most memorable trips included tours of places such as the Magnolia Plantation and Garden, Boone Hall Plantation and also Ft. Sumter. They live at Nell, KY, on Leatherwood Creek, District 2, Adair County.
