MYRTLE BEACH, SC (2008-0315 12:28pmCT) - ACHS cheerleaders are currently in Myrtle Beach, SC competing at the CANAM National cheerleading competition. On Friday competitions for individual competitors was held.



In the Junior cheerleader division Breanna Meeks was the winner with a score of 258.

In the Senior cheerleader division Taylor Smith received first runner-up with a score of 264.

Both girls were up against great cheerleaders from around the country.

The squad will compete Saturday, March 15, 2008, at 4:00pm then again on Sunday, March 16, 2008 at 5:10pm.

HIGH HONORS at CANAM! Standing by trophies almost as tall as they are, Breanna Meeks, National Junior Individual Cheerleading Champion, and National Senior Runner-Up Cheerleading Champion. The Adair County Cheerleaders continue competition as a a squad this afternoon and tomorrow.
