ACHS boys defeat Larue Co., 56-42, in 1st Fifth Region game With two photos By Duane Bonifer, LWC Director of Public Affairs Adair County High School boys basketball team defeated Larue County High School 56-42 in the opening game of the 5th Region Boys Basketball Tournament, played Wednesday night at Hart County High School. The victory improves the ACHS 2007-2008 season record to 27-5. Adair County returns to Hart County on Monday, March 10, 2008 to play Central Hardin High School at 4:30pmCT in the tournaments first semifinal game. Central Hardin improved to 20-10 on Wednesday night with a 57-47 win over Nelson County High School. The regions other two semifinal teams will be determined in Thursday nights first-round games, which will also be played at Hart County High School.
